KULICKE & SOFFA
An electronics industry building near the check post in Haifa.
The area of the project is 2 acres. The built area is about 4000 m2. The Kulicke and Soffa factory moved to an already built structure and adjustments were needed to be made in order to accommodate the company's functions and character.
Du to the nature of the manufacturing, there was a demand for tens of chimneys that stick out from the building. Therefore, a new light and industrial façade was designed.

The double façade is made of surfaces with different texture and sizes in order to achieve a translucent and concealing effect that gives the building a new look.
The surfaces are made of perforated aluminum plates, aluminum louvers, and polished polycarbonate boards mounted on a steel frame. Illumination strips were installed in order to emphasize the different surfaces.
